The Queensland Indoor Show Jumping Championships will be taking place at QSEC (Queensland State Equestrian Centre) 23rd – 24th September 2017, and is proudly presented by the Queensland Show Jumping Club. The Queensland Indoor Show Jumping Championships attracts Australia’s elite show jumping riders, who will be competing over the two-day competition for their share in prize money. The event will feature classes in both the indoor and outdoor arenas.

With preparations underway, this post will go through some of the show jumping essentials from our favourite equestrian brands!

The Acavallo Gel & Memory Foam Front Riser

The Acavallo Gel & Memory Foam Front Riser is a three-in-one gel pad that combines a built in front riser with uniquely designed non-slip and shock absorbing properties. The pad is perfect for use under close-contact saddles and where the saddle needs raising in the front. Two-time Olympic dressage gold medallist, Charlotte Dujardin loves and recommends the Acavallo gel pad for the comfort and freedom it gives her horse Valegro. Similarly, many elite show jumpers have praised the design of the gel pad such as the likes of Olympic gold medallist and world champions, Franke Sloothaak and Philippe Lejeune.

The GPA Little Lady

At last, GPA has introduced a more affordable version of the First Lady helmet. The GPA Little Lady is especially designed for ladies and offers great sun protection with the uniquely designed wide brim. In our harsh Australia climate, this helmet is a must have for any equestrian enthusiast. GPA prides themselves on their commitment to producing quality horse riding helmets. The brand is also the world's first European manufacturer to introduce approved riding helmets, by only using high-performance materials that combine both safety and comfort.

Veredus Carbon Gel Grand Slam Tendon Boots

In celebration of Scottish show jumper, Scott Brash's Rolex Grand Slam win, Veredus have created the Gold Edition Grand Slam Carbon boots. Veredus are known for their high-tech features and innovative designs, and the new Grand Slam Carbon Gold Edition definitely represents this. Featuring gold ventilation, 3D mesh ducted fabric, micro-perforated neoprene AEROX, quick-release top, tendon protection in carbon+ and an anatomically-shaped shell - this is the definition of ultimate comfort and protection for your horse!

The Queensland Indoor Show Jumping Championships is expected to attract large crowds, with many people travelling near and far to watch the event. Those attending shouldn’t miss the opportunity to check out the variety of trade stalls, and help support the businesses that contribute to the sport and help event come to life.
